With two outs in the bottom of the 9th, A-Rod yelled “HA!” behind Jays’ third basemen Howie Clark (yeah, I’ve never heard of him either), prompting Clark to move forward and let the ball drop, which opened the flood gates for the Yanks. Hilarious! Clark went on to throw a fit intended for A-Rod that included some nasty glove pointing and harsh words.
I can’t get down on a guy who goes above and beyond what he’s getting paid to do to win games. The same guy who is going chastise A-Rod for “disrespecting the game” is the guy who would’ve praised Jeter for doing it.
