The Red Sox have agreed on a deal with Curt Schilling that will pay the pitcher an $8 million base salary and $2 million in incentives for the next season. Schilling, who went an average 9-8 last season, gave the world a dramatic exit in what we thought was his last game in Boston. It comes as no surprise to me that the attention whore is back for another round.
The good news is next season we’ll still have the opportunity to see Schilling with an arrow through his head for the 2008 playoffs.
