Remember Kevin Johnson? I know, I, too, haven’t thought about him in like seven years. But KJ has just announced his intentions to run for mayor of Sacramento. Apparently, Sactown’s current mayor is a chick, with kind of a hot name (Heather Fargo, boing–I’ve just checked google images on her… not so hot).
Does KJ have a shot? Abso-fucking-lutely. If I know anything about Sactown, basketball comes before everything else. I say he’s a shoo-in.

haha. KJ has actually been really huge in the Sacramento community for years now. He bought up a huge ghetto ass neighborhood and is trying to revitalize it. He also took over his (and my dad’s) high school and turned it into a fancy charter school. He might win, and the basketball thing would help because he has a big name, but this is something he’s been working to for many years and would not at all be an Arnold Schwarzenegger type of thing.
