Yaaay, Kobe did it. Actually, I don’t understand why SO MANY people are SO excited that the Spurs are out of it. They’re boring? They have one of the most dynamic NBAers ever in Tim Duncan. If Manu and Parker get hot, they are two of the most exciting guys around. They whine a lot? Psha! If Kobe misses ANY shot within 10 feet of the hoop, arms are flailing and a ref is bound to get bitched out.

Regardless, the Lakers did it, and despite how many great players the Lakers have, Kobe was the culprit. If LeBron can ever figure out how to consistently take over games in the fourth quarter, like a star is supposed to do, and like Kobe did, he could easily be the greatest player in NBA history. (Note, I said “consistently”, which means you can’t point out any one game in the past two years when he did, in fact, take over a game).

Now, if these Eastern Conference Semis don’t go 7, I’m going to hurt someone.
